Who we are looking for:

• Subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of degradation mechanisms in batteries
• Hands-on experience in building and developing physics-based models for calendar life and cycle life analysis of batteries, internal short circuiting and its effects on battery performance, heating, and thermal management of battery packs
• Sound knowledge of numerical methods
• Strong foundation of fluid mechanics (mass and momentum conservation) and heat transfer (conduction, convection, and radiation)

Required Qualification:

• Experience in developing, analyzing physics-based battery models
• Background in C++ or Python
• Familiarity with Machine Learning is a plus

Who we are looking for:

• Hands-on experience in building and developing heat transfer models considering conjugate heat transfer
• Exposure to modeling natural and forced convection as well as phase change materials
• Strong foundation of fluid mechanics (mass and momentum conservation) and heat transfer modes (conduction, convection, and radiation)
• Sound knowledge of numerical methods
• Demonstrated experience with object-oriented languages, preferably Python

Required Qualification:

• Experience in developing, analyzing physics-based models
• Background in C++ or Python
• Familiarity with Machine Learning is a plus
